Project Application

Before issuing tonnage to project developers, they must first pass through the project application and ton approval stages. The application stage is designed to help project developers refine their proposal and allow participants to scrutinise the technical and logistical details of the project before going on to submit ton approvals

Initial proposal

Project developers can outline their project proposal. Community members will then have the opportunity to voice improvements and constructive criticism. This process is designed to refine the offering and allow participants to engage with the project developer.

A template for the initial proposal will be made available.

Project voting

Once a project is decides it is ready, they can put their project up for approval by the community. Projects will be assessed to determine their robustness, accuracy and how their aims can be best achieved. For the time being, project approval will be undertaken by our panel of experts. Token holders will have the ability to rate projects, based on the available information, and leave comments on the project application page. These comments are taken into consideration in the project approval process. In the future, we aim to make this process as decentralised and democratic as possible.

Once an application has been successfully approved, a project developer can put their tons through the approval process.
