CLNK Governance Participation
The community governs CLNK with token holders participating on the forum and snapshot voting. Members (token holders) use governance tokens to vote on essential protocol topics like treasury functions, partnerships, CrowdRefi proposals, fee rebates and more.
Discord is the first place for an informal discussion on new proposals.
Discussions are closely followed by the CLNK team who can comment on and pass messages from the community to the relevant team, help shape the ideas and if seen as viable, encourage them to be posted on the Forum as a proposal.
The Forum page on the website (which will be launched later) is where a formal proposal will be posted for discussion and debate from anyone in the CLNK community. Once posted here the commenting period begins and anyone can make their voices and opinions heard. Proposals can come from the internal team, someone from our community, external organisations or individuals.
After the commenting period, if the community is happy with the proposal, a formal proposal will be drafted with the help of the CLNK team. Once ready it will be posted for a vote.
Note: only the CLNK team can post a proposal for a vote in the “Proposals” section of the forum, but this will always be drafted with whoever raised the idea.
The formal proposal will be published on Snapshot by the CLNK Team for a vote by CLNK token holders.
All forms of CLNK tokens (such as staked and wrapped) are eligible to vote, on a one token per vote basis.
Things that would require a vote would for example be reward rate, fee rebate adjustments, or adding the project methodologies to the platform.
