# Ton Approval

Once a project has been approved, the project developer will then be able to submit claims for tons.

There will be two available pathways available to project developers:

Independent - Project developers can submit a report from a certified verifier

Automated - Projects using the CLNK Verified Carbon approach can have their data automatically verified

## Independent

To submit a ton claim, a project developer must first contact an established verifier to approve of a ton claim. This report can then be submitted to the CLNK launchpad for assessment by the panel of experts. Upon approval, the tons are issued to the project developer.
